Physical Therapy: Ann Weissman, PT, DPT

Ann is our clinical manager. She has a Doctorate in Physical therapy, graduating with honors from Columbia University, and has a BS in Exercise Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to working at Ridgewood Orthopedic Group, Ann was a Clinic Manager for Kessler Rehabilitation in NJ and a Senior Therapist at Rusk Institute in NY. She was selected as a physical therapist by United State Synchronized Swimming to accompany Olympic and National Team athletes to international competitions, and is herself a Master’s Champion. Ann’s published research on respiratory training for people with quadriplegia is currently being used in university curriculums. Prior to becoming a physical therapist, Ann was employed as Safety and Health Specialist by the American Red Cross, and is currently a volunteer. She has served on several National Faculties including Water Safety and Lifeguarding, and was a supervisor on National Disaster operations.
