Surgery Scheduling
Joan and Michele schedule surgeries and surgery assist for all of our Doctors. They coordinate all pre-operative appointments for our surgical patients including letters to both the patient containing a detailed explanation of the pre-operative surgical process and to the patient's Medical Provider with information detailing the patient's surgery and tests needed prior to surgery. For our Total Joint patients, Joan and Michele set up a "Pre-Operative Teaching" educational session here in the office with one of our nurses. This is an hour-long session devised to make sure that our patients are fully prepared for their surgery. It also ensures that we have all the necessary clinical information about our patient prior to surgery and that the patient is well informed. In addition our "Total Joint" surgery patients are given a detailed booklet and video explaining the surgery and answering frequently asked questions regarding after surgery activities and precautions. They are available daily day from 8am-5pm Monday through Friday. Feel free to leave a message at any other time. |
